T-Mobile Presents the Nightmare Before Christmas

Happy Holidays Hennys! I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of 2018 and getting excited to begin a brand new year.

Before Christmas, I helped T-Mobile host an EPIC holiday party for their finance department. They wanted to transform their headquarters into “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and we went all out to deliver! By the time we were finished, stepping into their office felt just like being in the movie.

Half of the office was “Christmas Town,” so it was very light and festive! We used T-Mobile magenta instead of red to make candy cane stripes along the wall, and used a lot of fun, bright colors instead of typical Christmas tones.

The other half of the office we draped in all black to set the scene for “Halloween Town.” We used black velvet linens, black chiavari chairs, and dark lounge furniture. Totally Tim Burtoned it out! We had the focal point be the backdrop of the movie cover— the moon with the swoopy swirl. It was so fun to decorate the space and make the scenes come to life!!

Floressence CRUSHED the floral arrangements. They were the perfect amount of dark and dramatic to set the scene, and still absolutely GORG.

And of course, the drinks had to be just as cool as the rest of the props! Guests had the option to pour a specialty cocktail from the T-Mobile branded sculpture or drink champagne from a fully dressed Sally!

Also, the desserts were SO cute from the Sweet Side!! They were absolutely perfect. And seriously, I’ve never seen a dessert bar get demolished so quickly in my life – it was actually impressive.

T-Mobile wanted their guests to have a lot of options for activities, so we had a ton of fun things to do!

Guests could play pub trivia, have their hand writing analyzed, get their palm read, have their tarot cards read, play in a photobooth with Jack Skellington himself (on stilts!), and of course, eat & drink their faces off!

Guests were also welcome to gamble on different casino games, inspired by the Oogie Boogie Man’s underground lair! And T-Mobile donated a thousand dollars to charities on the winners’ behalf! So rad! Cleary Katie Parra and I got really into it…

There was also some really fun and interactive live entertainment. Guests could both watch and participate in magic shows by Nash Fun, as well as a really hilarious ugly sweater contest. Check it out— there was some FIERCE competition!

Oh yeah, and we ended the night with an Elvis cover band. How cool?! They killed it. Everyone definitely had a blast and T-Mobile will for sure have a hard time topping this party next year! But, hey, I’m always up for a challenge!

Huge shout out to T-Mobile’s Cristal Dunkin for working with me to dream up this nightmare! They were so much fun and really got into the theme. I was also obsessed with Cristal’s flower crown (also from Floressence)! I need one of those asap. She is pictured here with the CFO of T-Mobile, Braxton Carter who definitely was in the spirit of the party!
